Auto Repair in Goodyear, AZ

I knew my 10-year old Buick, with 145,000 miles, needed some work if I was going to keep it for another year rather than trade it in. I like the Buick, I like its trunk size, and I especially like that it consistently gets 30-32 mpg. I knew, at the very least, it needed new front struts. I took it into the shop on 4/23 and Phil gave it a very thorough check and called me with both the needed and suggested repairs. He did it all for little more than two of the chain stores quoted me for the struts alone -- and I had the car back the next day -- and he insisted on showing me the parts he'd removed and what was wrong with them. I am so happy to have found Litchfield Auto Repair and will not be going anywhere else!

I couldn't be happier with Litchfield Auto Repair. I took my 2006 Chevy Uplander in for an oil change. I had started to lose trust in my current repair shop and decided to get a second opinion. I'm so glad I came to Litchfield Auto Repair. Everyone was super friendly and honest. Repairs that were absolutely necessary, according to the other guys, were not needed. I got my oil changed and got the 100k service. The price was reasonable and I instantly accrued reward points! I was so impressed with the whole experience so I brought my other car the following day for an oil change. I can't wait to tell everyone I know about this shop. Finally, a repair shop you can trust! I couldn't be happier with Phil and the way he conducts his business. We had extensive work done on the car. After looking at the car he called with the details and said he would like to have me come in to look at the car up on the lift so he could explain everything in detail. Wow, no shop had ever done that! Phil quoted the price for all repairs but gave an option to do some now and some later if I preferred. We did it all at once, easier this way! I also inquired about tires from Phil and he gave me a smoking deal on them, installed them and had an alignment done as well. When the car was finished I was very pleased with the price as it came in under his quote for the repairs and the tires also came in considerably less. Again, that has never happened to me before! This is a can't miss shop in my opinion. Phil has earned a customer and I will spread the word to everyone regarding his business etiquette and quality of work. And yes, the car runs like new again!

I cannot say enough about this business. Needed my car checked over- thought I may have a coolant leak. Also, tire was losing air I suspected a nail. Phil took my car back immediately when I arrived at opening time. He was very friendly and listened to the issues I was having. After a thorough check ( he came into the waiting area shortly after taking the car back), he told me what they found and suggested a fix. They gave me a ride home and picked me up 2 hrs later as promised when the car was ready. Unbelievable!! He said 2 hrs for the repair and meant it!! The quoted price was what I paid when I returned for the car- no surprises!!! They fixed my heater, verified no coolant leak, and patched my tire. The car was clean when I picked it up and I could tell they topped off the air in all the tires not just the leaking one. Great service, great prices, friendly family business. Phil, Tamara and Austin are awesome!

took car to Litchfield Auto for 2nd opinion. instead of an opinion, i got the job done in 1 hr. went a my regular auto shop (that i wasn't all that happy with) and a service mgr (they have 2) looked at the problem and said i needed a new door handle. litchfield auto looked at the door handle and said it might be mis-aligned. they were right, the other guys were wrong. Litchfield Auto is my new repair guy. Quick, honest and friendly. Oh and my wife likes them, enough said.

Second day of cross county trip and my Van dies outside of Phoenix. Found Litchfield Auto using Yelp. Called was told to have it towed, would check it out, was able to drive the Van there the next morning. Owner was ready to jump right on the van as we were traveling but told him I would like to leave it, as we rented a car to finish our trip and would be back in a week. Spoke to the shop two times while we were gone, both times was told they could not find anything wrong, and did not want to just throw new parts in and not solve the problem. When we got back, the Van was running fine, but still no obvious problems with it. The owner discussed what he found or did not find testing the van. We both came to the conclusion that the fuel pump may have overheated, due to low gas levels. This is Astro/Safari vans which are known for weak fuel pumps, and most people just keep having fuel pumps put in at $300-500 a pop. I have always worked on my own cars, and in fact had replaced the fuel pump a year earlier myself. This place is great, and a truly honest Repair shop, I will recommend them to everyone in the area. I have told people on the AstroSafari forum that this is the place to go if you have problems in Phoenix area. My only regret is that they are too far away from my home to use.

I had a great experience here! They diagnosed my 1998 Ford F250 SuperDuty and had the problems repaired in less than 24 hours. Very honest service, they even told us that all of the work we wanted done was not necessary. Great place to have your vehicles repaired!

Best mechanic shop ever. Extremely helpful employees. The place is clean as a whistle. Phil was very helpful on explaining what my car needed. I respect honest mechanics that are there to help fix a problem and not sell you something you don't need. The repair was going to take a while so Kelly gave me a ride home while my car is getting fixed. Very friendly guy. All in all, I will be coming back again for the customer service and the quality work and parts.

I had a minor issue with my muffler. Needed to get it fixed ASAP and I am so ELATED that I stumbled across this shop. My experience was awesome from start to finish. Both Tamara and Phil were helpful and honest. I will not only be a regular customer but will refer anyone and everyone that needs auto work done.
