Reliable, trustworthy auto shop! Took my Dodge Ram 1500 in for an evaluation, which was free. Another shop stated I need to have my rack & pinon replaced, radiator was leaking, thermostat was stuck open, and the temp sensor was bad. Wanted to charge a lot to repair all items, $1500.00. I always get second and third opinions and I'm glad I did. Yelped auto shops in Goodyear, called and was able to get in the next day. Phil was the one that looked over my truck and was very honest. Said that he wouldn't recommend the rack & pinon replacement because the leak was dried up, no wet dirt. Plus most rack & pinon do leak at first. He also said that the sensor was not bad and that the thermostat was the issue and that I did need a radiator since it was leaking. In all, the write up was very reasonable and I went ahead with the work. Had it back by the end of the day. I will definitely be having this shop perform ALL maintenance on my vehicles! Always great service with happy people. This place does the extra touches others don't. My Jeep's window wouldn't stay up, so I used duct tape to keep it in place. Litchfield Auto Repair not only cleaned the window, but also all the tape residue from the paint! I'd recommend this place to anyone in the West Valley!

My Hyundai Santa Fe encountered a throttle body issue. During the course of service, my radiator decided to crack spewing fluid all over the place. Phil was helpful getting another shop honor their "lifetime warranty" on the radiator. Once that was taken care of at a very reasonable price, my main issue was resolved. Will be a loyal Litchfield Auto customer for life.

Not your typical auto shop! I called earlier in the day to get an estimate on brakes and possibly rotors. I had gone elsewhere the week before (and won't be back at that place) for some other repairs. As a Yelper, I took to the search and found this place. The phone was answered by a friendly female voice, which instantly caught me off guard...again, not your typical auto shop. She was very honest and understanding of my situation. She gave me a rough estimate and told me to come in later in the day to get it checked out. I did and of course, karma being karma, my worst fears were realized...the rotors were shot! I knew it would be a bit more pricy. I'm a teacher. That should give you a small inkling of the anxiety I was facing. Phil was straight up honest with what was going on with my car and I gave the go ahead to get it done. I didn't feel like I was being talked down to as a female at all. Again...not your typical auto shop! I arrived at around 3:30 and they were able to finish the job that day before closing. The waiting area is clean and welcoming. I like the fact that the auto bay is not all up in yo' grill while you are waiting. There isn't even that "smell" that you normally smell. I know, it's silly, but it's something I noticed. ;-) I have a feeling this will be where I take my car from now on. Thank you to Phil and his staff for taking care of this weary teacher and her car!

I recently located my awesomeness to Arizona and my sweet, sweet ride was due for an oil change (shout out to my CR-V and it screaming at me via its service light that I needed one.) So off to Yelp I ran, came across this place and called them up to make an appointment. My Honda had only been previously serviced by a dealership so I was a little wary in taking her to an "outsider" but I took the gamble and I'm glad I did. I was in and out within 30ish minutes and they offered free WiFi so that I could handle some work bizness while waiting. My baby needs synthetic oil (spoiled lil hooker) so I guess the price was reasonable...? Seemed legit. I'm sure I'll be back.

So just three days after I wrote my original review I got a call from Phil at Litchfield auto. He was very polite very kind and just wanted to know what he could do to help out with my vehicle. I stated in my last review that their customer service was great and awesome and I stand by that comment. His concern was not about the review I posted, but expressing his concern for the safety of my family. So he ask me to bring my car down so at least he can check it because my family and I were going on a long trip to California . He went ahead and checked everything made sure my car was fine for travel and said if I ever needed anything that I could come and have him check on my car. He even went with me through a catalog to make sure that the correct filter was put on my vehicle at the time of service. So will I be back to Litchfield auto absolutely! Tamra was awesome as well. In the type of work that I do I'm all for small businesses so if you're ever on the west side or live near the area or maybe just passing through and are having any car issues if you're not sure about something go ahead and stop by at Litchfield auto and speak to Phil I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

I really felt like this shop went above and beyond for me. I had called Monday morning since my battery light was on, and my radio was cutting out when ever I would break or use my turn signal. Figured it must be the alternator or a short. I set the appointment for Wednesday morning. However, when I drove home on Monday, my alternator died. Since I had an appointment here for Wednesday, I had them tow it here. I fully expected them to wait until Wednesday to work on it. However, they had worked on it on Tuesday and let me know what the estimate was. I loved that the work was done ahead of time. That was awesome. I've been driving my car a few days now and it works great! Also, my car used to squeal when ever I would turn sharply (not sure if this was the alternator belt or what), but it doesn't do that anymore. Anyway, repairs were quick. Work quality seems to be pretty awesome too, and I loved talking with Tamara. :) Thanks guys!

There is a reason why these people get booked one week in advance. They are just great! I'm new to the area, and my care starting making this weird noise. Of course, I was nervous just to show up to any Auto Repair, and yet again, thanks God for Yelp! They really deserve the good reviews. I did have to wait 5 days to get in, but my problem was not affecting the functionality of my car. Explanation of charges was thorough and very well detailed in the final invoice. Tamara was great at communicating throughout the process. Price seemed to be fair. Final results: I'm back on the road, noise is gone, and car is running great! I would recommend these guys to my friends any time. Thanks LAR!

First: I never had service at this location. I was quoted a slightly cheaper price at a different location. I am strictly rating my customer service experience. The people that I spoke with over the phone were incredibly personable. They were friendly and handled my questions with care. They were quick to follow up with me on the questions I had. I didn't feel rushed at all. A great customer care experience.

They even work on diesels!!! I just moved here 2 months ago, and back home I left my father in law who has been my mechanic for 17 years. With that being said, I tend to know a thing or 2 about cars but I trust no one except my father in law. I've had 2 experiences with Litchfield Auto. First experience: Needed my fuel filter changed. They got me in for the following day, got my truck back right away, service was very friendly. Next, Phil comes out to tell me that my sensor on top of my filter had broken off but he could have the part there in 15 minutes and have me on my way. I didn't have the extra $50 at the time to cover the cost and he told me it wasn't detrimental and I could drive without it. Just be sure to get it next time. What mechanic does that?! Pretty honest if you ask me! In and out of there in less than an hour. 2nd Experience: Sunday evening 5pm. Truck wouldn't start. Had AAA tow it to Litchfield Auto. I called & left them a message letting them know the vehicle was coming & the nature of the problem. Had a very sleepless night because I thought it was going to be a worst case scenario kind of thing. Monday morning they opened at 7am and I was there-just to speak with Phil and give him details, trying to make his diagnosis a bit easier. 8:15am Phil calls and tells me whats wrong. I authorize the work. I call back and see if they can check all my fluids and headlights etc. Phil said it would be done in the afternoon-3:30pm, Tamara calls me and says it's done. These guys are great. They are friendly, honest, accomadating, quick and most of all realize that we all need and depend on our vehicles and they take pride in their work. I sure miss having my father-in-law around but these guys are a swell substitute! Finding someone to work on diesels is tough- so I am EXTREMLY grateful for them! Thank you Litchfield Auto for being AWESOME! I will definitely be back! (Hopefully on my own terms and not my trucks')
