Auto Repair in Goodyear, AZ

I WILL NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE NOW THAT I'VE BEEN HERE!!! What else can I say about these guys but their shop is one of a kind. Fast, efficient, friendly, helpful, and definitely are NOT there to rip off their customers. I had some work done by a previous mechanic at another shop and was having some check engine light issues after the work was performed. Looked these guys up on Yelp and thought I'd give them a try after seeing the great reviews. Spoke with Tamra who was extremely nice and got me in as soon as she could. When I first got there I was greeted by the owner Phil. I let him know of my problem and he ran a free Diagnostics check (which by the way I've never heard of any shop doing). After some searching he found out that my spark plug wires were bad, all of which I was told by the pre-mentioned previous mechanic were replaced. He gave me an absolutely fair estimate but knowing a little bit about cars I decided to change them myself. He told me good luck and sent me on my way, did not try and upsell anything to me (which as you know with auto shops is quite rare). Upon replacing the spark plug wires, one of them was so bad it fell apart when tugging on it. Needless to say got those replaced but the check engine light issue still remained. Called up Litchfield Auto and again Tamra squeezed me in ASAP. Got there the second time and Phil and his mechanics again started a free Diagnostics on the car, mind you they closed at 6pm and I showed up about 4pm. Upon further inspection, he told me that the spark plug wires were crossed and fixed them, handed me my keys, again at no charge and told me have a great day. I couldn't believe the great service at this point so I MYSELF asked him to charge me a labor fee for these guys working on my car for hours between both of the days I took it there. Long story short these guys are EXCELLENT. I have never been to a shop that is this clean and that is actually concerned about retaining loyal customers and not just how much money they can squeeze out of you. Like I said before I know a little bit about cars and Phil and his staff are one of a kind. He took the time to talk with me about the issues and explain how things work with the car so we could be on the same page and never did I once feel like he was out to get me. THEIR DETERMINATION TO FIND THE PROBLEM WITH MY CAR WAS OUTSTANDING!!!! I will DEFINITELY recommend this shop to anyone I know and will go there for all my auto needs. There is a reason why these people get booked one week in advance. They are just great! I'm new to the area and my care starting making this weird noise. Of course, I was nervous just to show up to any Auto Repair, and yet again, thanks God for Google! They really deserve the good reviews. I did have to wait 5 days to get in, but my problem was not affecting the functionality of my car. Explanation of charges was thorough and very well detailed in the final invoice. Tamara was great at communicating throughput the process. Price seemed to be fair. Final results: I'm back on the road, noise is gone, and car is running great! I would recommend these guys to my friends any time. Thanks LAR!

Tamara and crew at Litchfield Auto are amazing. The first time I used them they called around to a bunch of different places to get quotes on the parts I needed replaced. Not sure if this is common or not but I was amazed that she spent the time to find me a good deal on parts. I dropped my car off in the morning and by the afternoon they had replaced the entire AC system and I was ready to go. Could not believe how fast they fixed it. Took my other car in a couple weeks and again I was back in my car same day for another great price. These guys are fast, smart, honest and affordable. Definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a shop they can rely on.

Recently contacted Litchfield Auto Repair for an oil change since they have such great reviews on here. We're newish to the area, and we wanted to get established with a mechanic. They were wonderful, and I like how they have a rewards card!

Extremely satisfied! First of all I searched yelp for over two hours before I decided on Litchfield Auto(although they were the first i saw). Couldn't help but notice that every review was a 5star review. So I called them up and Took my MPV in because it was overheating. Mike was really nice and just wanted to get the vehicle in so they could look in to it. Now I've had a history of overheating vehicles and the service I received from other shops were way below par. So I gave Litchfield Auto a shot. All I can say is EXCELLENT Job GUYS! I'm referring all my friends/coworkers to Litchfield Auto! Thanks again BigRick

In response to what the owner said about my review: My review is not fake. You even remember talking to me on the phone when I called to get prices for goodness sakes. I didn't respond to you for the same reason that I never brought my SUV in.....I think your prices are to high, & also, what you told me on the phone is not exactly what you posted on Yelp. Calling my post fake is just a confirmation that you are not the kind of person I would want to do business with.

Reliable, trustworthy auto shop! Took my Dodge Ram 1500 in for an evaluation, which was free. Another shop stated I need to have my rack & pinon replaced, radiator was leaking, thermostat was stuck open, and the temp sensor was bad. Wanted to charge a lot to repair all items, $1500.00. I always get second and third opinions and I'm glad I did. Yelped auto shops in Goodyear, called and was able to get in the next day. Phil was the one that looked over my truck and was very honest. Said that he wouldn't recommend the rack & pinon replacement because the leak was dried up, no wet dirt. Plus most rack & pinon do leak at first. He also said that the sensor was not bad and that the thermostat was the issue and that I did need a radiator since it was leaking. In all, the write up was very reasonable and I went ahead with the work. Had it back by the end of the day. I will definitely be having this shop perform ALL maintenance on my vehicles! Always great service with happy people. This place does the extra touches others don't. My Jeep's window wouldn't stay up, so I used duct tape to keep it in place. Litchfield Auto Repair not only cleaned the window, but also all the tape residue from the paint! I'd recommend this place to anyone in the West Valley!

My Hyundai Santa Fe encountered a throttle body issue. During the course of service, my radiator decided to crack spewing fluid all over the place. Phil was helpful getting another shop honor their "lifetime warranty" on the radiator. Once that was taken care of at a very reasonable price, my main issue was resolved. Will be a loyal Litchfield Auto customer for life.

Not your typical auto shop! I called earlier in the day to get an estimate on brakes and possibly rotors. I had gone elsewhere the week before (and won't be back at that place) for some other repairs. As a Yelper, I took to the search and found this place. The phone was answered by a friendly female voice, which instantly caught me off guard...again, not your typical auto shop. She was very honest and understanding of my situation. She gave me a rough estimate and told me to come in later in the day to get it checked out. I did and of course, karma being karma, my worst fears were realized...the rotors were shot! I knew it would be a bit more pricy. I'm a teacher. That should give you a small inkling of the anxiety I was facing. Phil was straight up honest with what was going on with my car and I gave the go ahead to get it done. I didn't feel like I was being talked down to as a female at all. Again...not your typical auto shop! I arrived at around 3:30 and they were able to finish the job that day before closing. The waiting area is clean and welcoming. I like the fact that the auto bay is not all up in yo' grill while you are waiting. There isn't even that "smell" that you normally smell. I know, it's silly, but it's something I noticed. ;-) I have a feeling this will be where I take my car from now on. Thank you to Phil and his staff for taking care of this weary teacher and her car!
