Had my vehicle there for a “free” diagnostic and they quoted me over $1,100 for a starter and an oil change on a 2012 vehicle. Asked them how much without oil change and they said now $1,040. Took it to another mechanic who charged me $500 and also advised me that there was no oil. That is mysterious seeing that I just had an oil change back in February and I didn’t take it to this place for that purpose in the first place. Be careful and know that “free” is not always free.

Thank you James for taking the time to leave this review. I'm sorry we did not exceed your expectations. You had your Kia towed in. We performed an inspection. We had told you it had a failed starter and needed an oil change. You paid $0.00. As far as the cost to replace it, not sure how another shop would be able to do this at $500. Maybe they used a used part, or an aftermarket part and didn't charge you any labor. Here nor there, we have inspected 4 vehicles for you and you have never repaired one of them. Ohh, and never charged you. It may be one thing to have a different price on a part or on labor. But to leave a 1 star review for performing all the effort for multiple vehicles multiple times, and then to say free is not free doesn't really seem fair. Normally I would say I'd like to hear how we could do something better for a customer that is not satisfied. In this case we will no longer be accepting your vehicles in our shop to perform free inspections when there is no intention of having them repaired. Avoid I'd give them zero stars if I could based on my experience. Was referred to this auto shop from another tire shop I wouldn't go back to. I had recently purchased a truck that had a bad steering issue causing the alignment to toe out wearing out tires unevenly. Took it to tire shop (McFall Tire) , left over night they call me back says they can't fix it. They did manage to set off the control link sensor tho. They recommend Litchfield auto. I bring my truck leave it over night. They give me a call next day saying it would be around 500 to reset the control link sensor they can't figure out why the alignment is off. They ended up aligning it in the rack and tack welding the castors on to the frame. CHARGED me about 1.4 k out of pocket. Drove the truck a couple of months eating up my tires having to rotate them weekly. I called them up and explained to them. Thier answer was that the automobile might have been in an accident Decided get under the truck one day while rotating tires noticed that the right hand strut was broken not bolted to the top that was the issue. I called them back and they brushed me off like I didn't know what I was talking about. Long story short I ended up replacing the struts solved the issue right away. Ended up replacing the lower and upper control arms the technician cad to cut through the tack welds they had placed. * I just feel like this place ripped me off! they did shoddy work that caused more problems to my vehicle. And for the amount they charged me I was abel to replace the parts and get the labor done right the first time somewhere else I would avoid this place in the future !

I checked in at 11:00 and said I would wait. Normally they who’ve scheduled me earlier if waiting but my plans had changed. They had me out of there by noon. Great and speedy service.
