2. Contaminated Brakes and Fluids From Flooded Roads
Driving through a flooded intersection or a running wash pushes water where it does not belong. Standing water can work its way past seals into brake components and force moisture into fluids that are supposed to stay dry, which reduces braking performance and accelerates internal wear.
