Very sincere staff and clean shop. They fixed my 15 dodge Journey and replaced what needed to be replaced instead of what the dealer told me just to make a ton of money on me. My vehicle runs amazing and I only paid a fraction of the price that the dealer gave me. They also work on Diesels as well so bring your vehicle on down if it needs fixing. I will definitely return to Litchfield automotive.

They are hands down the best shop I have been to. They were up front, honest, and took time to really discuss my car issues and did an amazing job. They answered all my questions and went above and beyond to make sure my car was safe and the work done right.When I called about a question on my new tires the owner drove all the way to my work to make sure they were done correctly. I bought a used suburban a couple years ago and was taking to another place for oil changes. We had to replace the engine twice in 2 years because of insufficient oil changes but we were getting them done regularly. So I started taking my suburban to a full mechanic because I wanted to be able to hold someone accountable if they were screwing things up. It took 2 oil changes for these guys to figure out I had a leak. They fixed the leak, and fixed other things that we didn't know about and told us stuff we did think were problems were no big deal. They know how to diagnose a problem, they are straightforward and honest. They are helpful when you need to prioritize fixing things. I'm super impressed and my husband (who has mechanic friends) is ready to bring his 3 vehicles to them. It's really nice to have someone you can trust. I was so ready to get rid of my suburban, I hated it. I'm so excited that they found the problem. I was going to loose it if I had to replace the engine for a 3rd time.

Excellent, professional, personable, and HONEST service. The cost of the needed repairs to my vehicle proved to be more than the vehicle was worth. Rather than drag it out and milk me for multiple repairs and the cost of multiple detailed inspections, which they easily could have done, Litchfield Auto Repair told me up front that the situation was beyond repair and financially prohibitive. They even DID NOT CHARGE for the inspection once they saw everything that was wrong. ALL of the other firms contacted insisted on charging for each inspection. Litchfield Auto Repair has won my future business for their HONESTY and INTEGRITY!!! Great place!!!

My Jeep has been battling an nagging problem with the rear axle assembly for more than a year. The axle assembly had been rebuilt within the last couple years by another shop before I bought the Jeep. It's failed several times due to premature bearing wear with less than 12k miles driven since being rebuilt by the other shop. This past week the Litchfield Auto Repair team resolved the mystery responsible for the bearing failure. They determined the axle assembly had been bent and was causing the premature bearing wear. The previous shop didn't take the time to figure this out. Phil showed me the bearing wear and explained how the bent axle was responsible for the bearing failure. Litchfield even sent the axle housing out for testing to confirm their conclusion. After resolving the axle housing mystery they also installed new front and rear springs and adjustable lower control arms. My Jeep rides like new now! I choose Litchfield Auto to care for my vehicles because they are competent, transparent and committed to being fair and honest. The team is friendly and they stand behind their work. Absolutely impressed!!!! In the last 8 months, I have now taken my Lincoln MKS to Litchfield Auto Repair to have a waterpump replaced; my 1966 mustang GT in for a tune up, and my Suburban in for a rear main seal leak repair. All 3 services were fairly priced but the most impressive elements in my experience was the honesty, the recommended suggestions for preventive care for the future, and the personalized detail given to all three vehicles. Mark, did a great job communicating with me during each repair and explaining what the repair of each area would mean to my hehicles performance. This is a differentiator from most auto shops. I’ve never had anyone take the time to explain to me the performance factors in repair. I have a fourth vehicle, a Mercedes CL55 AMG that has come upon its scheduled B plan service. I will be taking that vehicle in to Litchfield Auto Repair within the next 30 days. The prices at the Mercedes Service Department is over $700. I’m sure the cost will be fair less at Litchfield Auto Repair and I’m confident the quality of the work will be equal to that of the Mercedes Service Department since Litchfield Auto Repair has Mercedes certified mechanics. I’ll be sure to post a review after the service. Quality, price, honesty, and communication are still alive at Litchfield auto repair.

Took my crazy truck in to get some estimates for gasket replacement and a couple other issues. Everyone was nice and professional. The honest recommendations I got back after they looked at everything was absolutely priceless and there was no charge.
